New tools for Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Web-based filters to help users with product selection

01.05.2011 | After the acquisition of Merrill Lynch, The Bank of America has become one of the leading banks in the capital market business and investment banking sector. The divisions have been fused and investors now have access to a greatly expanded range of structured products. Under the name Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the company also offers the German market with products based on all major asset classes. These products are available via direct trade or via the stock exchanges in Frankfurt and in Stuttgart.

Solvians has developed a new design- and content-concept for the web portal. In addition to a new detailed product overview and detailed pages the website convinces with many web-based tools. These tools provide investors with greater transparency and clarity in relation to the product portfolio. This area will be expanded in the future. A rollout of the website in other languages is planned later this year.

Interested investors can use sophisticated filtering services for more than 2,700 products (March 2011). Following filtering options are currently available:

  • Product Search
  • Discount Selector
  • Discount Atlas
  • Discount Heatmap
  • Calculator

The U.S. bank presents itself now technically and from a design point of view at the highest level. The new website was adjusted and based on the well-known corporate design of Bank of America Merrill. Thanks to the use of decent backgrounds and powerful command elements, users can quickly navigate through the website. Solvians optimized jointly with the client the navigation and content structure as well. Information on individual asset classes and products are now more detailed and better structured.
